"I guess we've all got to live with the choices. we've made."

This was one of the last sentences Shoji said to Nana before their final goodbye. This was also the quote that hit me the most from this series.

NANA is an anime I'm glad I watched, but I wouldn't want to watch it again. The beginning starts in a lighthearted way, but as the storyline progresses, the plot gets more tragic in a way that makes you feel sorry for just human beings in general. Listening to their OSTs usually sends me straight into the dark hole of depression in just the first few seconds of the intro. ​

 

When I was watching this anime, I found parts of myself in Hachi while longing to be someone like NANA. I kept making not-so-good decisions because I didn’t love myself, just like Hachi; but I’ve always wanted to live life unapologetically and have a strong sense of self like NANA. There’s so much I wanted to do, there’s so much to life I would like to get a chance to enjoy. I wanted the courage and space to let myself be myself.

NANA is an anime that would always make me feel something. When I see a post about them, listening to their OSTs, finding out about a new brand collab with them. So when I found out Xrage is launching a NANA collection, I immediately went to check them out. This is one of the few collabs that I saw some of their pieces resembling the items from the anime almost completely, which I appreciate a lot. While the other pieces got some more designers' twists, you can feel that whoever designed and made them did watch and love the series. Even the details with the tags and packaging were super good. This is one of the best anime clothing collabs I have seen so far and kudos to Xrage for bringing them to life. ​
